The simple and repetitive nature of some of the tunes makes them perfect entertainment for a night out as twee keyboard tunes are embedded in your head in less than 30 seconds, ‘Stuck In Traffic’ for example sculpts a fabulous and fun pop song out of a traffic jam and while the chant of, “We’re stuck in traffic, why are we not moving?” could become as irritating as the delay itself, it’s tempered by swirling synth work and bright beats.
The band’s forthcoming single, ‘We Are Here To Save You’ goes down well live with its lilting vocal melody and crisp pop beats that explode into a euphoric and chirpy chorus. ‘Taking Names and Heartbeats’ is a delightful, sweet indie pop song that slows the frantic pace down a little but sports a beautiful chorus that glistens with glossy electro style.
The duo manage to feel the stage with their irrepressible energy and bright tunes and it would be impossible not to end up with a smile on your face after such a fun filled performance.
